A Bit About Me

Growing up in Los Angeles, California, I found myself surrounded by the art of the Film and Television Industry. My love for this industry was strengthened by my family’s courageous decision to relocate to Paris, France for several years. In France, I was invited to observe rough-cut and spotting sessions of several films, where I saw the technical side of how a movie is born. Seeing successful creatives work with one another truly sparked my interest. As I grew and explored new horizons, my cultural perspective expanded and so did my idea of what I wanted to focus on as a career path. Navigating the challenges of moving and living abroad strengthened my global mindset and sharpened my lens when working on projects.

Upon moving back to California, I wanted to express my creativity through some medium. With YouTube as my platform, I single-handedly created my channel with content that attracted 45,000+ subscribers from across the world within the first year. What I gleaned from this was a true passion for the post-production process and decided to pursue a degree in Film and television. As I worked on projects and films, I saw how I could bring narratives to life through the magic of editing. Alongside my degree, I was a production assistant for the Digital Learning Department at the University of Arizona. I further broadened my experience working at the University of Arizona Center for Assessment, Teaching & Technology (UCATT) as a multimedia intern. With the insight I gained and the support I received working with several teams of passionate filmmakers and award-winning producers, videographers, photographers, directors, and editors, I am now proficient in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop, Audition, and After Effects.

As I embark on this next exciting venture, I seek not just to edit videos, but to craft compelling stories that resonate with audiences. I aim to integrate my worldly perspective with a unique fusion of technical expertise, creativity, and an unbridled passion for the ever-evolving realm of post-production video editing into all of my projects.
